Grand Canyon vacation rentals represent some of the most popular in the United States. This is because the Grand Canyon itself is one of the most widely visited landmarks in the country. This canyon is a spectacular natural wonder that spans over 200 miles in length, 18 miles at the widest point and about one mile in depth. It is rich with history and natural beauty. Everyone should visit the Grand Canyon at least once in a lifetime. Most visitors to this Arizona landmark stay in the Grand Canyon National Park, within which the majority of the canyon is located.

When it comes to vacation rentals you can choose between hotels, motels, lodges, condos, vacation homes and more. The type of rental you should go for depends on the needs of your party. Families with children may want to stay in a family friendly hotel or motel with lots of space that is a safe distance from the canyon. The most costly hotel is the El Tovar which is right on the Rim of the canyon and may not be the best choice for families with small children. However, the El Tovar is ideal for anyone who wants a historic place to stay that is right at the canyon.

While this is reason enough to consider this fabulous hotel, what's even better is that the finest rooms are right on the Rim. You will get breathtaking views right from your window. The more luxurious rooms have a balcony included. If a hotel just isn't your idea of fine lodging, consider renting a condo or vacation home. You may even want to consider a timeshare, especially if you plan to return to the area every year.

Grand Canyon vacation rentals also include vehicles. For example, you may want to rent a recreational vehicle. An RV is a fun way to explore the the Grand Canyon area and can help you bond with your family. If you're not too far from the canyon and want to take a day trip a rental car can get you there in luxury and comfort. When researching vacation rentals, the Internet can be a great tool. When shopping for accommodations reading reviews from people who have stayed there in the past can help you make the right decision.
